I am frustrated to say that I have had some issues with screen reader accessibility on GoDaddy after committing to a 3 year website contract deal. I am looking into ways to resolve them as soon as possible.
A big part of my website vision was to ensure the website and design of everything was as accessible as possible, and unfortunately the capabilities of GoDaddy have let me down.
Firstly, I apologise if any image descriptions are of poor quality, or aren't detailed enough. The alt text box has a ridiculously short amount of characters available and so they are not as detailed as I would like them to be.
The logo on the left or top of your screen is also the one part of the website that doesn't have an alt text option, so I have described it below.
This is my logo, which read the words "Steady Space", one word on each line in black. In between them is a walking cane and the curved handle goes up towards the "steady" line. This logo exists in a few colours (black, white, yellow and purple) in the font "Montserrat". This is because I wanted the font in my logo (as well as on the site!) to be an easier font style for readers.
My logo was designed by an incredible social media professional called Will, who is also a proudly Disabled, Neurodivergent working professional with a Visual Impairment (which makes me all the more frustrated!)
Please be assured I will be providing feedback to my website provider, and a big thanks to Will for taking on this commission and meeting my vision perfectly. Adding my beloved cane was their idea, not mine!
